Today we took our Nurture Journey quite literally on a journey. An invite from Una Turbitt, Interim Director of Children and Young People’s Services gave us a platform to present St. Mary’s Primary School Pomeroy to a room full of EA’s Heads of Services! We told our story, a story of gold and there was an air of calm as the room listened. We pulled heartstrings as we shared the love in our hearts for everything St. Mary’s……..for our children, their families, our community, our staff……..The Team! We strive to grow every child in our care holistically to enable them to strive in an ever challenging and changing world. When a child is nurtured there is no boundary to what they can learn, every child benefits, nurture has no boundaries! Our message was heard, our message was touching and our message will be remembered! St. Mary’s will be discussed by many to help us fund Nurture with a more sustainable future.
