Bishop Michael Router welcomed our Primary Seven Children yesterday evening on the special occasion of their Confirmation. Our 25 Confirmandi were a credit to all of their families and as a school and whole community we congratulate them express how proud we are of how excellently they conducted themselves and how special they made their celebration.
Caitlin lead the presentation of gifts and welcomed Daniel, Andrea, Darragh, Padraig, Olivier and Katie Rose to celebrate our faith, our sport, our school and friends, our football club and our families.
Aoibheann and Shea read the readings reflecting on the Gifts and Fruits of the Holy Spirit. Brianna and Caitlin sang the Responsorial Psalm, Gospel Acclamation and Veni Creator.
Aidan, Eunan, Clodagh, Kirsty, Niamh, Odhran, Oliver and Tatiana said the Prayers of the Faithful praying for special elements of our lives.
Liam and Ella Mae carried the Bread and Wine in the Offertory Procession.
Our P7 Tin whistle group of Aoibheann, Niamh, Clodagh, Emma Jane, Ella Mae, Brianna, Kirsty and Caitlin played during Holy Communion.
After Holy Communion Karol, Chloe, Emma Jane, Johnathan and Caitlin read a Reflection.
