During Literacy we are learning more about poetry. We are learning about verse, rhyme and rhythm. We visited The Burnavon Theatre to meet Paul Cookson to help us understand more about how he uses these features to help him to write poetry. Paul shared many of his fun ideas with us and together we clapped, sang and danced the rhyme and rhythm of his poems. Together with 300 children from other local primary schools we wrote poems to be very proud of.
