P5 have been learning all about the ancient Egyptian process of mummification.Today, we tested it out using a tomato!
We started by mixing baking soda and salt. We then cut a small slit in the tomato, took out it’s insides and added the mixture inside.
Finally, we wrapped the tomato in toilet paper and placed it in a lunchbox.
We are all so excited to compare the mummified tomato against a normal tomato over the next few weeks👀🍅
