Yesterday we had many guests in school taking part in a Primary Futures event for P6 and P7. This event is the first of its kind to be facilitated in any primary school throughout the North of Ireland. The P6 and P7 kids simply blew our guests out of the water! They epitomised everything special and they were the loudest example of how a nurturing ethos actually changes lives! The children excelled in communicating and asking questions to learn more about the career paths of our guests both virtually and face to face. A special word of thanks also to Mr Coyle and Mr Bradley who worked tirelessly behind the scenes over the past few weeks making sure today was a huge success and also to our guests Linda Stinson entrepreneur and owner of Bellamianta and Iconic Bronze, Aoife Dougan Ulster and All Ireland Boxing Champion at age 15, Andrea Begley singer and Law Civil Servant, Kerry Sweeney female engineer and technical author with Cabintec and Cathal Mallaghan councillor with Mid Ulster Council and fireman. Thank you for helping us guide and shape the leaders of the future!
