Today our girls took part in heat 5 of the Cumann na mbunscol indoor football blitz at Cookstown Leisure Centre with group games against Cookstown and Galbally. Finishing joint second it took an extra 5 minutes to separate ourselves and Galbally, with our girls scoring a last minute penalty to send them through to the semi finals. The girls played some excellent football against a strong Dunamore side by dominating possession. However, luck just went against us in the end. We are extremely proud of our girls and look forward to them representing St Mary’s in many more tournaments in the months ahead.
