Things didn’t go our way yesterday for the young Plunkett lads but those lads sure did make us proud! Getting to the final hurdle brings such pride to our community and we are extremely proud of their achievements! Well done boys. Our girls head out today to get themselves over the line and we send them heartfelt Good Luck wishes. What an achievement alone to have 2 youth teams battling on the same weekend in 2 finals! You are all already winners!
A special word of luck also to our little footballing fanatic Emma! Today Carrickmore battle for the Senior Championship and we send Emma and indeed our coach Connor who played his first Championship final in 1999 therefore fighting today in his fourth decade of Championship finals! Can Connor add 2022 to his 1999, 2001, 2004 and 2005 collection? Both Emma and Connor gift our kids with their footballing passion and talent and today we hope things go their way!
