This week the boys and girls in Primary 1 have been learning all about the vets and caring for animals. In the vets surgery the children took on the role of the vet and the receptionist, making sure all the animals were cared for. The children have also been learning how to sign makaton for lots of phrases and words that they use daily in school. In Numeracy the children have been learning all about the number 6 and showing different ways of making 6. In PDMU we talked about safety online and the importance of keeping ourselves safe from strangers and ensuring the children use child-friendly apps on their devices.
