P1 have had a very busy January with lots of fun and plenty of learning. We have been learning about Snow White and the 7 Dwarfs, sorting materials and investigating materials that float and sink.In numeracy we have been learning about money, 3D shapes and the numbers 6 and 7. We have explored different ways of making 6 and 7 and practised writing the numbers. We also learnt how to make a jam sandwich, we got to butter our own bread and spread the jam too. In literacy we have been learning all about the sounds m, o and c. We are learning to sound out and blend to create words and we are working very hard on learning our keywords and building sentences.
