In P5 we are learning about farming during World Around Us. We visited the STEM Centre to enhance our learning experiences. Our 1st challenge of the day was to be robotics programmers. We had to programme a robot to collect all the bales from a field and bring them to the silo pit. Our next challenge was to investigate the fat content in 4 different types of milk; skimmed milk, semi-skimmed milk, whole milk and raw milk straight from a local dairy farm. We then had to experiment with the milk to see which type of milk makes the best ice-cream........we sure did enjoy making the ice-cream.........the best dancers had the best results for sure!
